Among us in the community there is a wealth of knowledge and experience. I want to share it so life doesn't have to be quite so stressful! These events will be relaxed and social so you can chat with others, have a drink, and learn key life skills.
This event will delve into nutrition and PMS. Not enough people are talking about the overwhelming anger that comes not once a month but around ovulation too. People are opening up about menopause but what about the space before that? In this session, we will look into whether the food we eat might be able to help us in more difficult times of the month.
I will be joined by two fantastic nutritional therapists based in Hove: Daisy Nicomanis and Sarah Hornsey. Here is some information from them: We will be helping you learn a bit about the why around the PMS symptoms we get, from anger to excess hunger, bloating to tender breasts. There are many causes that can be addressed - from nutrient depletion after postpartum to blood sugar imbalances that someone may have, affecting hormones and therefore manifesting in PMS symptoms. We can help explain this, discuss the hormones involved, what could cause imbalances, and how nutrients and lifestyle changes can help.
